Au Revoir France, Hola Spain...

Hola a todos! Hello Everyone! We are now in Spain!! Hee-haa!

Stopped now for lunch and found free Wifi! Really random and unexpected.

Monday and Tuesday we had lovely Aire campervan spots next to a river or canal with beautiful surroundings. The first was in St. Angely and the second in Caumont-sur-Garonne. The Aire in St. Angely was closed for renovations, but there was enough space just outside in the parking area and perfect for us and 2 other campers.

Last night we arrived later than usual at our resting spot. We went to the Aire in Amou, but when we got there, there was no Camper van spot, so we moved on to the next free one at Peyrehorade. It was right next to the road though, so while we girls were making supper, Dad and Emile went for a walk to look for another place close enough to stay. Sure enough, they found a lovely place next to the river and a bit further away from the main roads. So after supper we upped sticks and moved on. Woke up to pouring rain this morning. But we’re not complaining. It’s a lot warmer here than it was a few days ago further up north.

On our way we stopped at a few wonderful towns with cathedrals and other building attractions.
