Taking a Short Break

We are back in the UK......a little bit earlier than planned.
No regrets though as we are absorbing the luxury of central heating, log fires and warm friendship. We are humbled in the way us 6 farts have been welcomed back and truly blessed to have such incredible friends, opening their home and hearts to us and everyone who just happen to appear on their door step, expected and/or unexpected.
Us younger farts have settled back into a study routine which was grossly neglected whilst on tour and dad is keeping out of mischief grafting away as an electrician to save up towards the second stretch of our trek through Europe.
Furthermore our beloved Merzy needs some attention as the pitted ('worn' would be the more common word) brake discs need to be replaced. She will also get a good old service for her loyalty to us before she gets booked for her yearly MOT (roadworthy) test. So for the time being she is parked in the drive waiting to be attended to.
We have had some amazing fellowship with friends over a meal and sing-song afterwards.
Our little brother has joined in a night-hunting expedition, resulting in a hearty rabbit stew and Dad and Geneve had the chance of showing off their slaughtering skills in gutting, cleaning and dissecting two pheasants passed on to us as a gift. We will have pie pretty soon.
We are hoping for temperatures to pick up before we set off again towards the end of March. So keep your ears to the ground and watch this space!
